Here are some tips and ideas when preparing for your session.
Lip balm is the magic cure for dry lips. Always feel free to bring & apply as needed. This goes for gentleman too!
Also applying hand lotion can magically make any dry skin disappear!!
For ladies who don’t wear makeup, I suggest just curling your eyelashes with an eyelash curler beforehand to give your eyes a little pop!
If wearing dramatic eye makeup, avoid a lip shade that is too dark, keep it light and glossy.
If wearing lighter eye makeup, a darker lip can add some fun drama.
Before the session, spritz on some of your favorite perfume or cologne…. it will give you a boost of edgy confidence.
Layers always look great.
Avoid wearing a large mix of patterns.
Scarfs are awesome! They add the perfect pop of color or texture and mix things up a bit.
Belts are also great and can be very versatile.
Hats are fun, for guys too!
With families, it looks great when there is some uniform to the outfits, but not identical. They look best when they are similar in colors and textures.
Also families can choose a "pop" color that all family members can accessorize with.
Props are great and show off personality!
Prop ideas for teens & seniors: books, sport equipment & uniforms, musical instruments, hobby related items…. really anything!
Prop ideas for children: tutus for the girls, sport related items, toys, blankets, hats, fun headbands…etc.
There will be walking through out the session, so if you are wearing heels, don’t forget to bring comfortable walking shoes too!
